Ben is a partner in Greene Park Capital. He is a real estate expert, spending over 13 years at M&G most recently as the Head of Real Estate Long Income.  Ben managed over £8bn of total long lease assets under management in Europe and a team of 15 fund management and acquisition specialists. Ben was also Fund Manager of the M&G Secured Property Income Fund (SPIF) and M&G European Secured Property Income Fund (ESPIF).

SPIF was an institutional real estate fund investing in UK commercial property let on long term leases to high quality tenants with inflation linked or fixed rental uplifts. SPIF was launched in mid-2007 and as at 31 December 2019 had AUM of £4.5bn, a WAULT of over 30 years and a 10 year un-geared annualised total return of 8.95% p.a. net of fees. 

ESPIF was launched in December 2015 to provide a similar investment strategy on a pan-European (ex-UK) basis and as at 31 December 2019 had completed transactions in 9 countries with a total value of over €500m.

The M&G Secured Lease Income Fund (SLIF) was launched in 2014, a fund dedicated to investing in Income Strips and Commercial Ground Rent transactions. Ben had management oversight of the Fund which had completed c. £750m of standing investment and forward funding transactions since launch.

SPIF was named as the winner of the 2014 and 2016 Association of Real Estate Funds awards for the best 5-Year Risk Adjusted Absolute Return (runner up in 2015), a testament to the success of our long term total return
